AMINOGEN
Aminogen is a natural enzyme that increases the breakdown, usage and absorption of amino acids found in protein foods including powders.

ARGININE ALPHA KETOGLUTARATE
Is a form of the amino acid arginine that offers several benefits. It can support growth hormone release which stimulates fat cell breakdown, it increase nitric oxide production which facilitates a muscle pump and it can, independent  of carbohydrates, increase insulin secreation which exerts an anticatabolic effect. The alpha ketoglutarate form can absorb ammonia, which leads to greater training stamina.

ARTICHOKE EXTRACT
Containe falvonoids shown by German scientists to stimulate nitric oxide-boosting enzymes. Nitric oxide is well known to increase blood flow and has also been shown to increase muscle and decrease bodyfat.

AVENA SATIVA
This is derived from oats and there are anecdotal reports that it can increase testosterone levels. It's supposed to work by freeing up testosterone from sex hormone binding globulin. This is turn allows more muscle-supporting testosteron to reach muscle tissue.

BETA ALANINE
Beta Alanine is an amino acid the mixes with histadine to form cardosine. It inhibits lactic actic acid buils up in the body which is a fatigue producing compound thats increases when you are training. Beta Alanine therefore causes an anti lactic acid effect and also breaks down to acetic acid which can inhance gylcogen formation.

BRANCHED CHAIN AMINO ACIDS (BCAA's)
BCAA's are the three amino acids the muscles use as energy as a workout progresses. Typically, longer workouts burnt through muscle glycogen reserves and , if there are insufficient BCAAs present, the body burns hard-earned muscle mass. Therfore BCAAs are considered anti-catabolic because they protect the body from burning it's own muscle tissue. One of the BCAAs called leucine can increase insulin release which exerts a muscle building effect.

CAFFEINE
This stimulant is most commonly found in coffee and tea. It increases the breakdown of bodyfat, especially when combined with a low carbohydrate diet. Some studies have also shown that it can also improve glycogen tolerance which means that it can improve the body's ability to change the glucose in carbohydrates into energy. This also means that over a longer period of times that bodyfat levels will decrease.

CALCIUM CASEINATE
Calcium Caseinate is a good source of slower digesting amino acids. Slow digesting amino acids typically come into play after whey protein and , overall, help create a muscle-building state.

CAYENNE
Cayenne contains capsacin which triggers an increase in the fat burning compound called norepinephrine (NE). NE rises with exercise and targets fat cells to give up fat so it can be burned as fuel. Cayenne also increases the activity of the sympathetic nervouse system (SNS) which results in calorie burning.

CHROMIUM
Chromium is a trace mineral that makes receptors for insulin located on muscle tissue more friendly. When insulin receptors are more friendly or active, it becomes easier for the body to deliver both amino acids from protein and glucose from carbohydrates into muscle where they can influence growth and repair.

CREATINE MONOHYDRATE
Creatine monohydrate is the original form of creatine that has the longest proven track record in terms of concrete and positive scientific studies. Creatine is used to power the initial few reps of a set and also plays a primary role in building ATP levels in the body which energises the muscles. Creatine has been shown to increase stregth, size and can mildly increase the metabolism.

DAMIANA
This mildely suppresses oestrogen, which is known to be a body fat friendly hormone, which means suppressing the hormone can help to lower body fat levels. It is also shown to work in regards to body fat levels when it is teamed with other herbs.

EGG PROTEIN
Egg protein is derived from egg whites and is a fast digesting fat free source of amino acids.

EURYCOMA LONGIFOLIA JACK
This herb can boost testosterone in a number of ways. Like tribulus, it influences the Leydig cells to crank up test. It doesn't need LH to get the job done, however, it seems to directly stimulate T production. Another way eurycoma may work is by freeing up testosterone in the bloodstream from it's carrier protein sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). When T is bound to SHBG, it can's enter muscle cells, but eurycoma can help release it, allowing it to enter muscle cells and induce growth. Yet a third way it may enhance T is by reducing levels of the catabolic hormone Cortisol. Since cortisol competes with testosterone for it's binding sites inside muscle cells, having less of it can amplify T's muscle building effects.

FORSKOLIN
Forskolin is the active compound in the herb coleus forskohlii, a member of the mint family that boosts test levels and even aids fat loss. Much like eurycoma, forskolin directly stimulates the Leydig cells in the testicles to produce more T. Forskolin is known to active the enzyme adenylate cyclase, which stimulates testosterone production and fat loss. In fact, one study found that subjects taking forskolin for 12 weeks experienced higher T levels and great fat loss than those taking the placebo.

GLUTAMINE
Glutamine is a multi-functional amino acid. It lowers levels of ammonia, the by-product of training that can interfere with muscle growth. It alos can block the uptake of cortisol by muscle tissue. Cortisol is a catabolic hormone that's released during training and can cause muscle damage. Glutamine can maintain adequate levels of branched chain amino acids which are extrememly important in muscle recovery and growth. Studies have also shown it can help the body store glucose as muscle glycogen which can enhance training intensity and support recovery.

GLYCINE
Glycine is an amino acid that has been shown to increase growth hormone. Growth hormone protects against muscle breakdown that comes with hard training. It also allows the body to switch fuel sources so that the body relies more on fat as fuel as opposed to glucose. Glycogen may also improve "glucose" tolerance - the muscle's ability to draw glucose from the blood stream and store it as muscle glycogen. Glycogen fuels training and in general supports muscle growth provided there is sufficient protein in the diet.

GUARANA
This seed has over double the amount of caffeine in coffee and also contains theobromine and theophylline which increase your metabolic rate and therefore can increase fat loss. Theophylline can stimulate beta receptors on fat cells thus encouraging fat loss.

HIGH FRACTION CONCENTRATE AND ISOLATE WHEY PROTEIN
These are superior sources of why protein that have not been processed by a high heat drying system. These whey proteins allow for maximum digestibility which translates into greater amino acid delivery to tissue. Whey is delivered faster than casein so the combination of casein with whey makes it an ideal way to build muscle.

HMB
HMB is a by-product of the amino acid leucine. HMB can increase insulin secreation which drives amino acids into the muscles and signals anabolic pathways to become activated. Unlike many amino acids, HMB does not produce ammonia, a by-product of protein that can interfere with muscle contraction.

LOW TEMPERATURE MICELLAR CASEIN
This is a unique source of milk protein cultured with bifidus and acidophilus organisms that are common to yohgurt. These organisms support the health of the intestinal tract which, in turn allows the body to make better use of the amino acids in protein. Micellar casein forms a gel in the gut which, promotes a slower release of amino acids into the blood. This slow release action supports a muscle-building (anabolic) state but also creates an anti-catabolic (muscle breakdown) state.

MALTODEXTRIN
Maltodextrin is derived from corn and is a concentrated source of carbohydrate that can aid training by supporting glycogen levels and increasing insulin levels. This means that it enhances the anabolic hormone that shuts down muscle catabolism and increases protein synthesis.

MCT OIL
This is a short chain fat that is used immediately and converted into energy and is very rarely stored (as fat). When used postworkout it can help muscle glycogen formation and also aid recovery. It will also help pull amino acids into the muscle tissue.

MEDIUM CHAIN TRIGLYCERIDES
MCT's are shorter chains of fatty acids, which means that generally there are like a carbohydrate - used for energy when exercising rather than getting stored as bodyfat. They can also quickly give way to ketones which interfere with muscle breakdown during dieting states. Preserving muscle mass helps keep the metabolism elevated.

MILK PROTEIN ISOLATE
This derives from both whey and casein and is a blend of fat and slow digesting amino acids.

NETTLE ROOT
This is a herbal extract that displaces testosterone from sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) and may be effective at delivering more testosterone to the muscles. SHBH carries testosterone through the blood stream and when testosterone is allowed to free itself from SHBG, it attaches to muscle to influence growth.

PEPTIDE BONDED GLUTAMINE
Peptide bonded glutamine is a superior source of the amino acid glutamine (see Glutamine for description). Peptide bonded glutamine is two singular glutamine molecules bonded or attracted together by a special connection called a peptide bond. This bonding makes it more bioavailable for the body and superior to regular glutamine.

TAURINE
Taurine is one of the amino acides that decreases during training and low levels are associated with fatigue. In addition, supplemental taurine seems to increase water retention inside mucle cells which, along with supplemental creatine, can create a stretching of water sensitive receptors in the muscle fibres that in turn support an anabolic state.

TRIBULUS TERRESTRIS
Also known as puncture vine, tribulus is a herb that contains the active ingredient protodioscin, a phytochemical that raises testosterone levels by causing the brain to release more luteinising hormone (LH) from the pituitary gland. This hormone influences Leydig cells in the testicles to produce more testosterone, which is a very good thing for your muscles.

TYROSINE
Tyrosine is an amino acids that directly impacts on the production of norephinephrine (NE) within the body. Tyrosine also plays a role in converting metabolically less active thyroid hormones into more active thyroid hormones which can in theory lead to a great fat loss.

WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE
Whey Protein Concentrate is a source of easy-to-digest fast acting amino acids to support growth and tissue repair. Whey is abundant in branched amino acids which exert both an anabolic and anticatabolic effect. Whey is also a source of cysterine which produces glutathione, one of the strongest antioxidants in the body. Antioxidants fight muscle inflammation which can indirectly support muscle growth.

YERBA MATE
This is a stimulant herb that derives from South America, it has been shown to prolong the feeling of fullness and to cause significant weight loss when (in studies) it was combined with guarana and damiana.

ZINC
Zinc is a vital nutrient that is used by the body to make anabolic hormones such as insulin, testosterone, and insulin-like growth factor. Athletes tend to be deficient in zinc and lower zinc levels are associated with low testosterone levels.

ZMA
This is a combination of zinc and magnesium aspartate. It has been shown to increase total testosterone levels and insulinlike growth factor (IGF) which affects muscle repair and growth. Hard training bodybuilders are often deficient in both zinc and magnesium.
